Hello Kitty

This song is 1 of 2 custom songs written and performed for Kitty O’Meallie’s 95th birthday party at her seniors residence. Kitty is an accomplished visual artist from New Orleans and BigDay founder Lee Baillie’s grandmother. Over 100 of her friends attended the milestone event and each party guest received a BigDay CD with the songs on them as a party favour. To this day, they still refer to Kitty’s party as “the best party Glenaire has ever seen.” The success of the event and reception of the songs Baillie performed was largely the inspiration behind Baillie starting BigDay! While Kitty is no longer with us in the flesh, her loveable spirit lives on through her catchy keepsake BigDay hits!

Be Like Rubber, Let it Bounce

Written for golf-loving Michael’s 60th disco birthday bash, Lee sang this song live at his stunning Studio 54-themed party as a surprise performance. Michael’s wife secretly met with BigDay before the party, and we learned that one of his favourite sayings when faced with adversity is “be like rubber, let it bounce” – a testament to his resilient, fun-loving character. BigDay CDs featuring his song were given out to guests as parting gifts at the end of the party.
